Is KarvedUp available in the App Store or Google Play?

KarvedUp is on the web today, on any phone or computer. The Android app is in testing on Google Play and coming soon. There's no App Store app yet, so on iPhone use KarvedUp in your browser or add it to your home screen. KarvedUp is a Progressive Web App (PWA), so you install it directly from your browser instead of an app store. It opens from your home screen in a standalone app experience and receives product updates automatically.

When is my full coaching plan created?

After you create an account, complete personalized setup in this order: your baseline (goal and body stats), starting targets, nutrition, a meal preview, training, a training preview, supplements (you can skip this), and your coach. Then a valid card at checkout starts the 7-day trial. KarvedUp generates your full plan when you enter the coach experience. Your Plan contains Overview, Training, Nutrition, and Supplements sections.

How do I enable reminders and notifications?

Open Settings, then Notifications, and turn on Push Notifications. Your browser will ask for permission. You can configure morning check-ins, training reminders, weekly reviews, and grocery restock reminders. On iPhone, install KarvedUp as a web app before enabling notifications.

Why don't I see the option to enable notifications?

Your browser or device may not support web push, permission may be blocked, or notifications may not be configured on the server. Check the browser's site settings and allow notifications for KarvedUp, then return to Settings and try again.

How do I log a workout?

Open Workout from the navigation, enter weight, reps, and repetitions in reserve (RIR) for each completed set, then select Finish Workout. Your history is used for future progression suggestions.

How do I swap a single exercise?

Use Swap on the exercise. Choose a reason such as equipment unavailable, joint discomfort, dumbbells or cables only, poor mind-muscle connection, or add a custom note. KarvedUp replaces that movement for today's session.

Can I adapt the entire workout?

Yes. Select Adapt Workout for hotel equipment, home dumbbells or bands, a shorter session, or bodyweight training. If you already logged sets, KarvedUp asks for confirmation before replacing the session.

What can I do on a rest day?

You can rest, start an impromptu workout, or log active recovery or cardio. An extra session does not permanently replace your scheduled training split.

How do I change my training split?

Open Your Plan, then Plan settings. Split lives on the Training tab, and you can also change your goal, budget, diet, and supplements. Save and rebuild starts a new training block at week 1. Logged workout history is kept.

How do I swap a meal?

Open Nutrition and choose Swap Meal on the meal you want to replace. You can request dining out, missing ingredients, quick preparation, a lighter meal, a craving, or enter a custom request. Daily targets remain the same.

How does dining-out guidance work?

Choose the dining-out option when swapping a meal and say where you are or what you already ate. If you name a restaurant, KarvedUp suggests an eating-out order picked from the restaurant's menu. If you describe food you ate, it logs that food instead of inventing a different restaurant. Remaining unlogged home meals stay as planned, so a heavier restaurant meal can overflow the day's calorie total.

How do I log something I ate off-plan?

Tell your coach what you ate in chat with as much useful detail as possible. KarvedUp can log it into the next available meal slot. Remaining unlogged home meals stay as planned unless you ask to adjust them. Restaurant and natural-language entries are estimates.

Can I regenerate today's meals?

Yes. Reroll Day replaces meals that have not been logged. Completed meals stay in place, and your daily calorie and macro targets do not change.

How does the grocery list affect meal planning?

The Grocery list contains home-cooking staples grouped by department. When grounding is enabled, KarvedUp favors those foods in meal planning. You can add items, change the restock cadence, reset staples, or turn grounding off.

When does my first weekly review become available?

Weekly review becomes available after your first seven days. When it is due, a banner appears in the coach experience. You can also configure a weekly reminder in Settings.

What information does the weekly review use?

The review displays your multi-day weight trend, nutrition logging, water consistency, completed workouts, the sets you logged, your morning check-ins, upcoming schedule, and recovery feedback. Macro changes require sufficient logs and weigh-ins; otherwise, current targets are held.

Does the weekly review change my workouts?

Yes, once you approve it. For every lift you logged that week, the review proposes one change for next week. If every set reached the top of the rep range, the weight goes up by a small step sized to your experience level. Otherwise the weight stays and you aim for more reps. Poor sleep, low energy, or high soreness give you a lighter week with one fewer set, and so does a lift whose reps dropped two weeks in a row. Lifts you flag for pain get lighter. If you choose Ready to push and recover well, a few lifts can get an extra set within volume limits for your level, but never on top of a weight increase. You see each lift's numbers this week and next week with a one-line reason, and nothing changes unless you choose Apply training changes.

Do weekly nutrition changes happen automatically?

No. KarvedUp shows the proposed calorie and macro targets and next week's training changes before applying anything. Training and nutrition each get their own answer, and both start on keep: Apply training changes or Keep my current plan, and Apply new targets or Keep current macros. You can apply one and keep the other. If you keep both, nothing changes.

How does the 7-day free trial work?

Create an account, then finish personalized setup in this order: your baseline (goal and body stats), starting targets, nutrition, a meal preview, training, a training preview, supplements (you can skip this), and your coach. A valid card at checkout starts the 7-day free trial after that setup. You are not charged during the trial, and you can cancel anytime in Settings before your trial ends. Your full plan is generated when you enter the coach. Unless you cancel, the monthly or annual plan you selected begins when the trial ends.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Settings, go to Subscription & Billing, and select Cancel Subscription. Access continues until the end of the current trial or billing period, and you will not be billed again.

Where can I manage payment methods or invoices?

Open Settings and select Manage Billing / Invoices. If a payment fails, KarvedUp shows a billing recovery screen with Update Payment Method. Both open the secure Stripe billing portal. Available billing actions depend on your subscription status.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Select Log In on the welcome page, then Forgot Password. Enter your account email and check your inbox and spam folder. Reset links are single-use and expire after 60 minutes.

How do I change my password?

Open Settings, go to the Account tab, and select Change Password under Profile. Enter your current password, choose a new password, and confirm it to save the change. If you don't know your current password, use Forgot Password from the login screen instead.

How do I log out?

Open Settings from the navigation, scroll to Account, and select Log Out.
